Mabel’s STory
Mabel was founded by practicing architect and housing provider Brooke McCurdy. Mabel gets its namesake from Brooke’s great aunt; a remarkable woman who blazed her own storied trail her whole life. She was one of the first WACs to serve in WWII, and later, in her 80’s, she navigated the great US Highway System at the wheel of her 42-foot GMC Revcon RV.
The quaint coffee shop celebrates Mabel’s spirit of adventure with tasty local bites ready to go for its customers, and delicious coffee drinks for their road less traveled, whether off to work, or a stroll around the surrounding quiet residential streets. Mabel is conveniently situated next to a busy Metro Bus stop, teeming with people on their way into and out of the city. Mabel is a friendly place to start your day, or stop in for a midday pick up. Let us fuel your next adventure!
